This one came out of a metal suitcase full of war souvenirs bought from the veteran in about 1985. Doesn't appear to ever been on a head. ..........

I'm glad you posted this one Ron because I think a lot of collectors would run a mile from pebbled sweatbands. The fact that it's chocolate brown and doesn't match the paint under the visor would also be a worry I would wager?
The problem with those concerns though is that they are wrong!
This cap is 100% authentic.
