Most of you will know me already but for those who don't, I've set this forum up so we can discuss German caps in detail and without the clutter of other collecting material.
I've been collecting German hats for about 12 years now and I find them fascinating. The quality and variety was beyond compare with anything else the World had to offer.
Collecting them lead me to also learning how to repair and restore them.
By learning the cap makers skills, I feel closer to understand the supreme skill involved in making them.
