Ok guys, so this one came to me from PVL and his crew several years ago. The cap was found with the eagle and soutache found in the flap of the cap (or so the story goes). He told me he had his team of seamstresses restore the cap and I gotta say I don't know how they reattached the soutache because I can't see where the liner was opened up. The eagle edges were pretty tore up and it really makes it quite clear in person that its reattached. Still it was my first PzGrn overseas cap and I still like it quite a bit. They are kinda hard to come by. Matt

Thats a very nice sidecap. Shame about the restoration but the story is very plausible and I believe it.

Pat,
its a shame but its the nature of post war Germany. It was the first PzGrn overseas cap I was able to purchase and I was happy to get it for that reason. I still like the look of it even with the restoration and it will be with me for a long time to come. Matt
