That's a fantastic fieldcap! I used to have a similar one but it wasn't as nice as this.
Indeed I do recognise the maker, it's Georg Teufel & Sohn. A prolific maker of such things.
Is that 644 stamped below?

Thanks. Yes, finally i got a untuched cap with eagle on side, skull in front. First time i see a G.Teufel Sohn made field "m-43" cap actually. Often seen sidecaps from them thou. Yes, it is 644, means June 1944. Cap is pictured in ss headgear book Allgemeine and waffen-ss by Beaver and Shea. Cheers Gisle
